I graduated in 1967 with a degree in Elementary Education and started teaching Junior High School math at the American School in Mexico City. In 1970 I married Gustavo Charfen and we have four incredible children. Alex was born in 1972 in Mexico City. He currently lives in AustinTX with his wife and two little girls and is the owner and CEO of The Charfen Institute. Michelle was born in Mexico City in 1972. 1978 in San Diego, CA (we moved to Encinitas CA in late 1977). She is a new and full time Mom. She and her husband live in Costa Mesa, CA. Melissa worked in Yardhouse Corporate in Irvine, Ca. until her baby was born. Vanessa was born at home in Irvine, CA. in 1981 and is currently a Realtor in her beloved city of San Diego, CA. I went back to school in the 90's and got my Masters in Clinical Psychology and currently have a private practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Gustavo and I (still going strong after over 45 years) live in the beautiful city of Ladera Ranch, CA. Gustavo still owns and operates a wholesale/retail electronics store in Calexico, CA. I would love to hear from old friends!
